Hotel Overview

Escape to the Historic Old Clayton Inn, a wonderful hotel nestled in the beautiful Blue Ridge Mountains. The Inn is within walking distance of many unique shops and galleries.

Close to many local area activities, The Old Clayton Inn is only a short distance from many popular activities. Also located in our area are many State Parks, White Water Rafting venues, Gem Mining, Fly Fishing Rivers and Scenic Waterfalls to tour and visit. The Historic Old Clayton Inn is also less than two hours from Atlanta.

The Inn offers 30 individually decorated rooms. Guests will appreciate complimentary full hot breakfast.

The hotel's restaurant facilities are the finest in the area. The main dining room comfortably seats 75 guests in a casual atmosphere with additional seating on our covered porch outside.

The restaurant offers a complimentary full hot breakfast to our Mountain Inn Guests seven days a week. The restaurant serves lunch Monday through Friday with a lunch buffet on Saturday and Sunday. On Friday and Saturday nights, there is an all you can eat Prime Rib Buffet. Angie Lewis Jenkins plays Classical Broadway Music at the piano for your dining pleasure. The beverage list includes a full line of fine wines and beers, including Tiger Mountain Vineyards, Persimmon Creek Vineyards, Habersham Vineyards, Copperidge Vineyards and a good selection of imported and domestic beers.

Meeting/Banquet Space

In keeping with the rest of the Inn, the banquet room is designed to provide a cozy but elegant environment. The beautiful field stone fireplace is a wonderful center piece, and no matter what season of the year, your event is sure to absorb the friendliness it radiates. The massive rough hewn cedar beams across the ceiling further lend themselves to the warmth and openness of the room. The room and accompanying culinary delights can be custom designed to fit business meetings with as few as twenty-five people to wedding receptions for as many as 100 guests. Using the banquet hall, dining room and Rabun Room, we can seat 200 guests for a meal function.
